What is a dumpster rental?

What does "roll off" mean in "roll off dumpster"?
A roll off dumpster is a rectangular box with no lid, a swinging door and wheels on one end. When your dumpster rental is delivered, a truck will use the wheels of the dumpster to roll it into the correct spot. So, a roll off dumpster is simply an open-top dumpster with wheels that “roll” into place.
Why would I want to rent a dumpster? What is it for?
Roll-off dumpsters are ideal for home cleanouts, renovations, roofing projects, construction debris, landscaping cleanup, moving, and other projects that create more waste than regular trash service can handle.
How is weight calculated at the landfill?
The weight of the materials is determined during delivery to the local landfill. Each unit is carefully weighed to obtain the gross weight. Once the dumpster is emptied, the unit is weighed again to determine the tare weight. The actual weight of the materials is then calculated by subtracting the tare weight from the gross weight. The accuracy of these measurements is ensured by state bureaus of weights and measures, which regulate the scales used at the landfill.
Will I be charged for extra weight?

Can I rent more than one dumpster at a time?
Yes, based on availability. We can provide multiple dumpsters at one location or coordinate deliveries across multiple job sites.
Do you deliver dumpster rentals to my area?
Jones Dumpsters serves Duplin, Wayne, Sampson, Lenoir, and Johnston counties, with standard delivery available within 25 miles of Warsaw, NC. Delivery beyond 25 miles may be available for an additional mileage fee.
Will the dumpster mess up my driveway?
Driveway damage is uncommon, but the weight of a loaded dumpster can affect some surfaces. We recommend placing plywood beneath the container for added protection.
Do I need to be home when you deliver?
No, but we recommend having someone on-site for delivery. If no one is available, make sure placement instructions are clear and the delivery area is accessible.
What is included with the price?
Your rental includes up to 7 days, delivery and pickup within 25 miles, and disposal of up to 2 tons.

How do I cancel or change my dumpster delivery date?
To ensure a smooth process, any cancellations or changes should be requested no later than 48 hours before scheduled delivery. Please note that such requests may be subject to cancellation and change fees.
How far in advance should I reserve a dumpster?
What happens if my dumpster fills up early?
Please contact us to arrange a pick-up for the container. Should you require an additional container, there will be a repeated charge as per the previous container. Kindly note that it is your responsibility to schedule the pick-up. Failure to do so will result in charges according to our pricing scale.
